It was a long day of cricket in Oslo today as Norway played host to Sweden and Hungary for a T20I tri-series which saw play last until 8:30pm in a day long T20I tri-series at the Stubberudmyra Cricket Ground.
Sweden won the toss in the opening game and chose to bat first against the hosts, scoring 136-9 from their 20 overs. Imal Zuwak top scored with 56, whilst Qamar Mushtaque was the pick of the Norwegian bowlers with 3-19. Walid Ghauri then scored 49 as the home side chased down their target with nine balls to spare, winning by three wickets.

Hungary, who lost all six games in a T10 tri-series that immediately preceded this one, took on Sweden in the second game and asked them to bat first after winning the toss. Things started well for Hungary with both openers out cheaply and Sweden on 16-2 but their opponents recovered in style to score 204-5. Saeed Ahmed top scored with an unbeaten 73 from only 37 balls, whilst Yatharth Chauhan scored 71 from 42.
The Hungarians batted out their overs in reply but were never in the running to chase down their mammoth target, scoring 125-8 to lose by 79 runs. Abbas Ghani's 41 was their top score.
Norway were the first team to elect to bat first when they won the toss in the final game this evening and scored 172-8 from their 20 overs, Kuruge Darshana and Ibrahim. Rahimi both scoring 38, though the latter did so much quicker - from 14 balls compared to 38 for Darshana.
Hungary's reply was similar to the preceding game against Sweden - Abbas Ghani scoring 49 and nobody else making a contribution of note in their total of 140-8, a 32 run defeat to secure the tri-series win for the home side.
