Scotand's 'Twa W's' starred as they beat Ireland by 66 runs in the first match of fhe Over 40's Triple Crown at Stirling.
Ryan Watson top-scored with 61 (7 fours) as the hosts were bowled out for 172 - runs too for Drew Parsons (25), Shaun Coetzer (24), and David Holloway (20).
Two of the Ireland's four debutants took three wickets apiece - Andy Leonard (3-19) and Bilal Azhar (3-30), while Levon Shields (3-27) also collected three scalps.
Doug Wylie then took five wickets as the Irish batting failed to fire - all out for 106, with only John Anderson (29) offering any resistance.
The series continues on Wednesday and Thursday.
