NCU Under 13's took a two-nil lead with a seven-wicket victory at Shaw's Bridge to ensure at least a share of the series spoils with their Leinster counterparts.

Batting first, Leinster made 101 all out in the 30th over with only Leo Russell (36) getting to grips with the home side's bowling attack.

Michael Girvin took 3 for 18, while Hridaan Salian was amongst the wickets again claiming 2 for 13.

Openers Pranav Saran (20) and Owen McMillan got the chase off to a good start in a stand of 47.

Cregagh batsman McMillan has been the star of the week with the bat, and the talented youngster top-scored again with 46 (3 fours, 1 six) adding 42 with Callum Lowe (13*) before being dismissed with the scores level.

The teams meet again on Thursday in the third game of the series.
