Cork County enjoyed their trip to Malahide with a 42-run (DLS) thanks to a fine all-round performance. A third wicket stand of 90 between top-scorer Mark Adrianatos (88) and Brian Upman (66) took the Munster side to 265 for 7. The chase was rain-affected, with Eshan O'Sullivan's six-wicket haul proving the difference.

A second wicket stand of 140 between Tom Johnson and Monil Patel was the catalyst for Leinster's 50-run win at The Hills. Johnson top-scored with a fluent 76 from 91 balls (9 fours, 4 sixes), while Patel also cleared the ropes four times in his 59. There were runs too for Younas Ahmadzai (45) and Mark Tonge (25) in a Leinster total of 293 - four wickets for Oliver Horlock. Chasing a revised target of 249 in 33 overs, Saqib Bahadur's five wickets ensured they didn't get close despite the best efforts of the 9th wicket pair of Cian Nulty and Shazil Ahmed, who added 101 in ten overs. Nulty hit 9 fours and 3 sixes in a 36-ball unbeaten 68, while Ahmed made 32 not out.

There was frustration at Anglesea Road where rain stopped the game just seven balls short of a result. North County had made 278 with Jamie Grassi continuing his return to form with a hard-hit 71 from 61 balls (6 fours, 4 sixes). There were runs too for Suliman Safi (56) and Brian Dunphy (31), while Eddie Richardson and Hunter Kindley each made 24. Swapnil Modgill was trapped early in the chase by Richardson, but Merrion looked well placed in the chase thanks to the very much in-form Stephen Doheny (46*) and Connor Blaxall-Hill (32*) who had added 90 before the match was eventually abandoned.

Another player in a rich vein of form is Rob O'Brien, with the Irish youth international top-scoring with 56 in a Railway Union total of 270 at Balbriggan. Hedayat Khogiana (46), Srihan Karpe (35), and Liam McCarthy (28) were also in the runs, while Seb De Oliveria took four wickets - albeit at a cost of 70. The hosts never got close as they were dismissed for 148 - 40 for Connor Fletcher and 36 for Dylan Lues. The destroyer-in-chief was Muhammad Sinan who took five wickets.

George Dockrell was in the runs as Phoenix piled up a whopping 448 for 5 at Rush. Dockrell made an unbeaten 202, while there was a century for Australian overseas player Eknoor Singh and a half century for Joe Cotgreave (57). Rush made 202 in the chase - five wickets for left-arm spinner Amish Sidhu.

Pembroke were comfortable winners in their Irish Cup dress rehearsal at Clontarf where they chased 174 easily to win by six wickets. Clontarf's 173 saw skipper David Delany top-score with 47 (7 fours), after they had lost their way when the third wicket stand of 79 between Patrick Xie (46) and Mitchell Thompson (37) was broken.

Byron McDonough took three wickets, while there were two apiece for Paul Lawson, Mark Berry and Gavin Hoey. Andy Balbirnie made 65 in the reply, with runs too for Harry Tector (28) and Blake McDonald (26*) as they secured the win in the 29th over. Clontarf will be hoping for better fortunes on Sunday.
