Andrew Balbitnie made it back-to-back centuries for Pembroke to take the Sydney Parade side into the semi-finals with a 101-run win over The Hills.
Balbo hit 11 fours and four sixes as he batted through the innings to make an unbeaten 150 out of 308 for 4. He dominated an opening stand of 75 with JJ Garth (24) and took the game away from the Fingal side as he and Jack Tector put on 146 in 22 overs, with Jack's 64 from 67 balls including 8 fours.
Adam Boulton (37*) added a further 62 with the Ireland Test captain as the visitors wilted.
The chase never really got going with Andrew Kavanagh (40), Tomas Rooney-Murphy (33) and 27 apiece from Hassan Shahid and Matthew Weldon the best of their 207 for 8 - three wickets for Andy Balbirnie rubbing salt into the wounds.
North County won the bragging rights in the Fingal derby as they beat Balbriggan by 64 runs. Matthew Hollard (4-17) had County in early strife, but they were rescued by half centuries from Eddie Richardson and Jamie Grassi who added 95 for the fourth wicket.
There were 20s too from Alan Mathew, Brian Dunphy and Jake Devane as they battled to 233 for 9. The Balbriggan reply stated strongly and with Chris De Freitas in full flow, Balbriggan were favourites at 126 for 2 just before halfway.
The dismissal of CDF for a 45-ball 58 (6 fours, 3 sixes) sparked a collapse that saw them lose eight wickets for 40 runs to be 169 all out - three wickets for Alan Mathew, and two apiece for Usman Azhar, Eddie Richardson and Abdul Ghaffar.
A century from David Delany propelled Clontarf past what looked an imposing Phoenix total of 284 for 8 to clinch a six wicket win with more than six overs remaining, Eknoor Singh had made a run-a-ball 150 that included 23 fours and a six, adding 189 with Tyrone Kane (65).
Singh however messed about switching his batting style and that served to stir up their opponents as he fell next ball, and motivated Clontarf even more so in the chase.
Ash Bain took three wickets and at 108 for four it still seemed as if Phoenix would prevail. However, skipper Delany hit 13 fours and two maximums in a 90-ball 121 not out sharing an unbroken 178 for the fifth wicket with the impressive John McNally, whose unbeaten 76 included four fours and three sixes.
Dublin University and Railway Union will have to try again after their game at College Park was postponed.
