Holders RBAI secured their place in Friday's Schools' Cup Final with a comprehensive 9 wicket win over Foyle College.

Batting first it was always going to be tough for the North West side against an attack that boasted Premier League players, James West, Adam Leckey and George Craigan. And indeed it was Instonians Craigan and the CSNI pairing of West and Leckey who bundled out Foyle for just 80.

A late order 25 not out from Karl Murray saved Foyle's blushes somewhat, Millie Spence the next top scoreer with 14.

And it was the same three who featured with the bat for the Belfast side, opener Craigan managed only 10 but his was the only wicket to fall as his opening partner West, and number 3 Leckey, knocked off the runs required in eight overs, both finishing on 24 not out.

The Final takes place on Friday at Wallace Park - start time as yet unconfirmed, when RBAI will face Sullivan Upper School for the Ferguson Grainger Cup.
