Irish universities have named their squad for their tour to Cambridge next week to play in the Hone McGregor Trophy between Cambridge University and University of St Andrews Scotland.

Clontarf left-arm spinner Cillian McDonnell captains the side, and is one of six UCD players in the travelling party.

The squad has many familiar faces from the Leinster Premiership, including Irish Academy players Seamus Lynch and Mikey O'Reilly.

Sam Willemse misses out with a hamstring injury, while CSNI and Ulster University's Harry Dyer is absent due to the Emerging Knights having two matches on Tuesday.

Mullingar's Robert Delaney is Head Coach, while other support staff include President Ger Siggins, Treasurer Murray Power and Team Manager Herbert McClelland.
