Holders Waringstown had little trouble making the last four as they beat North Down by eight wickets at Comber.

Captain Amy Bond's 20 was the best of their modest total of 111 - two wickets apiece for Naomi Matthews, Cara Murray , Rachael Harrison and Penny Speer.

Amy Caulfield got the chase off to a customary fast start with 22, but it was the second wicket stand of 70 between Sophie Hinds and Charlotte Lyons (23) that was to prove decisive.

Hinds' unbeaten 52 from just 38 balls (8 fours) was more than enough to earn her the Player-of-the-Match accolade.

Holywood's excellent season continued as they easily swept aside Muckamore at Moylena. A fine bowling display saw Muckamore dismissed for just 86, with Player-of-the-Match Alex Atkinson taking 3 for 2, while there were two wickets apiece for Tasmin Hope and Madison Landsman.

21-year-old Landsman, who has played international cricket for both South Africa - taking a hat-trick in the inaugural U19 World Cup against Scotland - and The Netherlands, then hit an unbeaten 51 from 27 balls (8 fours, 1 six), as she and Eva Cupitt (11*) shared a second wicket partnership of 68 to seal the nine-wickets win inside ten overs.

Jemma Gillan scored a century as 2023 winners CSNI ran out convincing 179-run winners against Instonians at Stormont.

Skipper Gillan hit 14 boundaries in her 100 from just 80 balls, sharing a third wicket stand of 167 in 19 overs with Rachael Thomas who made 35 in a home side total of 262 for 6 - three wickets for Anna Ellerby (3-31).

The Instonians chase never got going as they were bundled out for just 83 - four wickets for Emily Carville.

The Dundrum versus Lisburn match didn't take place and will be rescheduled at a later date.
