Boyd Rankin has named his Emerging Warriors squad for next week's friendly clash with the Emerging Knights.
The various Unions have been forced to independently arrange white-ball fixtures after Cricket Ireland culled the white-ball Future Series, opting instead for a condensed red-ball tournament over the last two weeks in July consisting of just three two-day games for each of the interpro second XI sides.
23-year-old Irish passport holding New Zealander Isaac Bird is the most intriguing addition to the Emerging Warriors squad.
The Ballyspallen all-rounder has flown high since his arrival and will no doubt have his mind on higher things.
Play at Ardmore on Tuesday June 3rd gets underway at 11am.
