Strabane beat Ardmore and the weather in the only Premiership match that managed to get finished.

Ardmore won the toss and bizarrely opted to bat with rain never too far away. They struggled to 106, with Sabin Babu top-scoring with 27 - thee wickets apiece for overseas professional Ranjitha Liyanarachichi, while TJ Boyd claimed two.

More rain meant a DLS adjusted target of 61 in 20 overs and the Red Caps picked up valuable points as they strolled to the seven wickets win in the 12th over - skipper Kevin Gallagher making 27.

In a match reduced to 34 overs per side, Coleraine scored 159 batting first, with 30's for Louren Steenkamp and Paddy Carson. Scott Macbeth took five wickets, while DD Barr picked up two in another case of 'spin to win' for NW sides. Brigade had reached 24 for 0 when the rain arrived once again and forced the game to be abandoned.

There was no play possible at Newbuildings and the teams will try again in the coming weeks. Bready's home match against Donemana was another game that couldn't beat the elements, so a replay will be scheduled soon.

Gayan Maneeshan was in the runs again as the Sri Lankan made another unbeaten century in Fox Lodge's 135-run at Burndennett.

He hit 15 fours and 6 sixes in a his 144 not out from 117 balls in a Fox Lodge total of 364 for 5. The tone was set by Travis Nicholl clubbing a 24-ball 65, while there were runs too for Johnny Heywood (55), Luke Hayes (37*), and Ali Doherty.

Skipper Conan Pollock made a defiant 81 from 62 balls (8 fours, 3 sixes) and Andrew Barr 35 as the home side made 229 in reply. Doherty took three wickets, while there were two apiece for Jamie McIntyre and Luke Hayes in the comprehensive win.

Michael Rankin's five wickets haul saw him dubbed 'thee full-toss king' by inspirational skipper David Anthony, who used the all-rounder to inspire the Saints to a nine-wicket win at Killyclooney in a game reduced to 42 overs.

The home side could only muster 87, with South African professional Aron Visser making more than half those in an unbeaten 47 (9 fours) - three wickets also for Nathan Cole. Jack Macbeth hit 8 fours in a 25-ball 36, and unbeaten 20's from Barry Scott and Josh Hansadale ensured a full points win that keeps St Johnston clear at the top of the Championship.

The rain again won the day as Bonds Glen and Ballyspallen couldn't get their second innings started at Kildoag Road. Sam Haslett top-scored with 75 (12 fours, 1 six), while Divan Posthumus made a 19-ball 38 (3 fours, 3 sixes), and Stevie Dunn 22 in their 209. Dylan McElhinney claimed 3 for 12, while there were two wickets for Kasigo Rapulana.
