Curtis Campher has been named in the Munster Reds squad for their Interpro clash with Northern Knights at Stormont.

The 26-year-old is back from the Pakistan Super League and will take on the captaincy armband for the match, with both sides vying to stay in the slipstream of leaders Leinster Lightning.

Campher has been named in the Ireland squad for next week's three-match ODI series, hoping to add to his 111 caps.

“It’s a real honour to captain the Munster Reds," Campher told the Munster Cricket website.

"I’m excited to be back with the lads, especially after yesterday’s performance at The Mardyke.

"Huge thanks to Gareth for stepping up as captain in my absence—he’s done a fantastic job. We’re in a similar spot on the table as the Knights, so this could be the game that sets us up for a real title push.”

Munster chased down 246 to beat the Warriors, while the Knights lost by four wickets in Wicklow.

Stormont may be the ideal ground and conditions for Campher to score a maiden century in the interpros - the closest he came in 33 appearances was 98 for Munster at Bready in 2023.

Today may be the day! Action at Stormont gets underway at 10:45am.
