The Northern Knights are hoping Paul Stirling is back in the squad for this week's clashes with Leinster Lightning and Munster Reds.

The Ireland white-ball captain will undergo a fitness assessment on his tennis elbow injury in order to be fit for the two matches ahead of next week's ODI series against the West Indies at Clontarf.

Skipper Mark Adair misses out again, as does his elder brother Ross, with an unspecified injury, meaning Neil Rock will captain the side for the games at Oak Hill and Stormont.

In Stirling and Adair's absence, the Knights beat the NW Warriors in the opener at Stormont.

Defending champions Leinster Lightning also won their first game, and welcome back Reuben Wilson, Fionn Hand, Seamus Lynch and Tim Tector.

Lynch is added to Tuesday's squad while Tector is in the 13 for Thursday's home clash with the Warriors.

Hand and Wilson's bowling workloads are being managed as they return from injury, so may only feature in one match apiece, if at all.

Cameron Rowe and Mark Tonge drop out from last week's squad.

Ryan Macbeth has been drafted in for the Warriors trek to Cork as cover for Craig Young who could only manage two overs last week in Belfast. The Irish international returns for Thursday's game with Macbeth free to continue preparations for his stag weekend that will see him and younger brother Scott both miss the Irish Cup clash between Lisburn and Brigade.

Malahide's Mike Frost and Clontarf all-rounder John McNally are in the Munster squad with The Hills' Matthew Weldon left out.

Munster had been hopeful that Curtis Campher would be available following the cancellation of the Pakistan Super League, but this appears to have come too late.

The squads are as follows:
