DEVINE INSPIRATION FOR FOX LODGE

Fox Lodge Women began the defence of their Cup with an emphatic 10-wickets win over Strabane. The Red Caps were blown away for just 28, with wickets for all the bowlers including Mollie Devine, who took a hat-trick.

The Ballymagorry side face fierce rivals Bready in the Women’s Derry Midweek final on Sunday, keen to continue their winning ways, after beating them to the double in 2024.

Bready were also in action on Sunday when a half century for Alana Dalzell and runs for Millie Spence saw them chase down Bonds Glen’s 143.

It should be an exciting contest, with the action getting underway at the Rectory at 12pm.

That match is followed at 3.30pm with the Men's final, between Donemana and Newbuildings.

Spectators are advised that cars can be parked at Oakgrove PS with entry to The Rectory via the pedestrian gate.
