BONDS GLEN

Captain and overseas pro: Divan Posthumus
Players in: Dhram Singh
Players out: Davy Cooke and Pushpender Singh
Young Players to watch: Sam Kincaid, Samuel Haslett and Mark Robinson.

There have been a few changes up the Kildoag Road over the close season, with Bonds Glen still hopeful of mounting a real challenge in the Championship.

"We are very hopeful for season ahead," said a club spokesperson.

"It's disappointing to lose the services of Davy Cooke to Coleraine, and Pushpender Singh to Ballyspallen (because of the points system). We wish them well for the season ahead.

"We will also be hampered by the limited availability of Heinrich Roberts and Mattie Barr which will weaken us. But the signing of Dhram is massive and Stevie Dunn committing to a full season really strengthens us and Divan, our returning pro and skipper, will have a year's experience in North West conditions.

"Our young players to watch are all in and around the Emerging Warriors so hopefully they are ready to help us with a good campaign this season in the league and a good cup run."
