BREADY

  • Captain: Ian Young
  • Overseas professional: Josh van Heerden
  • Players in: Mark Pollock
  • Players out: Pierce Ryan

Ian Young is once again the man in charge of the Magheramason side, while Ryan Clarke will be his deputy for the 2025 campaign.

"We have a few changes from last season," said Young. "Pierce Ryan has left to join The Hills, while we have a new overseas pro called Joshua van Heerden.

"We also have Mark Pollock coming in from Burndennett which is great for us as he adds quality with both bat and ball.

"There are a few young players coming through and impressing in the nets this last few months in teenagers Travis Faulkner and Bobby Stott both looking very good.

"It's looking very likely we will be missing Jonny Orr for the season as he has a seriuos knee injury picked up playing rugby.

"We are all looking forward to the season starting. Hopefully we can keep everyone fit and see where it takes us. I would like think we would be in the mix come the end of the season to be lifting a few trophies."

Bready have been challenging for major honours over the past decade and there's little doubt they will be there or there abouts once again in 2025.
