Uganda have crashed to another heavy defeat at the ongoing Men's T20 World Cup, this time losing to the already eliminated New Zealand side.

Put into bat, Uganda were bundled out for just 40, with Kenneth Waiswa's 11 their only score in double digits. Tim Southee took three wickets for just four runs in his four overs, equaling Frank Nsubuga's record for the most economical four over spell at a Men's T20 World Cup set earlier in this tournament.

Devon Conway scored 22 from 15 balls as New Zealand completed a straightforward run chase, winning by nine wickets in 5.2 overs.

For Uganda, their tournament is over, but they will go home with a win. New Zealand have one more match against Papua New Guinea on Monday morning.
