Ireland Women have unveiled a total of 23 contracts, 12 of whom have been handed full-time deals.

Among the record number of full-time professionals are Bready's Alana Dalzell, and Clontarf spinner Freya Sargent.

16 year-old Alice Tector is the latest member of the cricketing family to be given a contract - a casual deal, alongside Abbi Harrison, Kia McCartney, and Christina Coulter-Reilly.

There's an interesting retainer deal for Una Raymond-Hoey, who is now based in Victoria, but no mention of veteran Eimear Richardson.

"This year we are also welcoming the return of Una Raymond-Hoey to the Irish set-up on a retainer basis," said National Selector Ciara O'Brien. "Una, who has 15 caps for Ireland, has spent the last five years in Australia – playing cricket and rising through the ranks of representing Victoria, and being part of the Melbourne Stars squad in the Women’s Big Bash."
