Strabane Academy have made it through to the semi-finals of the Schools' Cup with a 103-run win against Limavady Grammar School in the all North-West clash at Burndennett.

Star for the Tyrone school was Jonny Orr, who made a quite brilliant unbeaten 101 out of their total of 164 for 7 in 25 overs.

Finn Craig bowled superbly for Limavady having the excellent analysis of 5 for 10 in his five overs.

In reply, Limavady were bowled out for 61, with David Quinlan making 31 of those.

The wickets were shared amongst the Strabane attack, with two apiece for Travis Faulkner, Jonny Orr and Ryan McAuley.

In the last four Strabane Academy will be joined by holders RBAI, Campbell College and the winners of the Wallace High School v Ballyclare High School clash.
