FOX LODGE HOPING TO REPEAT CUP SUCCESS

It’s been a stop-start to the year for Fox Lodge with postponements, but it promises to be a busy weekend for the Ballymagorry side with home back-to-games against Coleraine in the cup and their rearranged league clash with Strabane. The delayed start isn’t all bad news for skipper Aaron Heywood, as it has given some of his squad a chance to recover from injury.

“We're unsure how far away Jonny ‘Bap’ Robinson is from making his return to action,” said Heywood. “Things have improved slightly so we will see how that plays out over the next few weeks.  Jamie McIntyre has been back in action for us this year also following a long spell out last season due to injury. He's looking sharp and putting the hard yards in at training.

“Adam Walker missed the T20s through work commitments but he was due to be back in league action last weekend at Ballyspallen and is available this weekend too, which is a big bonus for us. Other than that, it seems to be much the same. We have a group of players to pick from going into the weekend and as of yet that starting XI hasn't been confirmed for what are sure to be two huge games for the club.”
