Three members of the all-conquering Civil Service North team from last season have been named for the first time in the Dragons squad for this year’s Super Series games.

Aoife Fisher, Jemma Gillan and Jess Mayes are in the mainly Northern Ireland based squad, which also includes internationals Amy Hunter and Cara Murray plus Orla Prendergast, Arlene Kelly and captain Leah Paul.

The other new face is Eglinton’s Jenni Jackson and Stormont and Eglinton will host three of the Dragons’ six home games this year with Lisburn and Waringstown the other host clubs.

Once again there will be three teams with Gaby Lewis captaining Scorchers, who are defending both the 50-over and 20-over titles while Rebecca Stokell continues to lead the Typhoons after taking over from Ireland skipper Laura Delany last summer.
