Donemana beat Killymallaght by 25 runs
    Donemana 148-2 ( R Thompson 61*, L Britton 34, I Dunn 28)
    Killymallaght 123-6 (A Dunn 38, D Dunn 21*)

Donemana won the Midweek Cup yet again after a 25 run victory over Killymallaght in a high scoring game at Bready on 2 August. Batting first Donemana made slow but steady progress with openers Lee Britton and Ivor Dunn content to stroke the ball around. Lee Britton was eventually dismissed for 34, well caught by Dee Dunn off the bowling of Raymond Mitchell. Ivor Dunn was then lbw for 28 to leave the tie in the balance. However thanks to a magnificent knock of 61* from Richard Thompson, which contained 6 sixes and 4 fours, Donemana added 56 in the last four overs to end up with 148-2.

In reply Killymallaght were well on target with the score on 71-1 after 10 overs, but when Ally Dunn was well caught in the gully by Richard Thompson off Andrew Riddles for 38, the innings faltered. Raymond Mitchell was bowled by Trevor Britton for 17, and then four run outs destroyed any chance Killymallaght had. Dee Dunn scored 21*, and B McNeill struck a few mighty blows in his 19*, but to no avail. Not surprisingly, Richard Thompson received the Man of the Match award.
