A fine all round performance from Harrison Carlyon helped Jersey beat their fellow Channel Islanders Guernsey by 22 runs. The off spinning allrounder scored 63 from 50 balls to help Jersey post 160-4 and then took 2-8 opening the bowling. A 124 run partnership between Matthew Stokes (62 not out) and Oliver Nightingale (57) for the fifth wicket saw Guernsey get closer than they perhaps deserved, but the late acceleration was just a little too late and Guernsey were kept to 138-5,.
