Amy Hunter was presented with the SS20 trophy by Cricket Ireland president Donna Armstrong after Dragons completed the clean sweep with a sixth straight win in the afternoon match, beating Typhoons by 11 runs. It was a case of déjà vu as openers Amy Hunter and Bella Armstrong posted their second century stand of the day, bringing their partnerships tally to 312 before Hunter was leg before to Leah Paul with the score on 141. Armstrong, who was out for 85 in the morning match could add only five more this time in an innings that included 17 fours. Their total of 191 for three was under threat for much of the Typhoons reply although the run out of Rebecca Stokell, after she had scored 25 from 13 balls, was ultimately crucial. Paul hit 45 off 35 balls and Laura Delany was 60 not out from 47 when the overs ran out. The difference was their lack of boundaries. No-one hit more than five and there were only 19 in the innings; Dragons hit 33 in a game without a single six.
