The Hills secured a semi-final berth with a ten-run win in the winner takes all clash against Clontarf at The Vineyard. Victory was set up by a second wicket stand of 116 in 69 balls between top-scorer Oliver Horlock - whose 50-ball 71 included 7 fours and 4 sixes - and Nathan Rooney, whose made a 41-ball 58 (5 fours, 3 sixes) in a total of 172 for six. John McNally took two wickets and it was the tall left-hander who led the Clontarf reply with a fluent 47 (8 fours). Eoghan Delany (31) and Fionn Hand (21) kept Clontarf in the hunt, but The Hills prevailed thanks to two wickets apiece from Sean McNicholl, Cian Nulty and Febin Manoj.
