Lawrence Moore (CricketEurope), February 2021
One of the most unassuming and likeable people on the circuit, Kenny has been around the umpiring ranks for more than 15 years now.
The Letterkenny native played all of his club cricket at nearby St Johnston although there is no conclusive proof that he made a few appearances in the boys team until he was 26.
A knowledgeable guy, he is very popular with players and fellow umpires alike and the entire cricket community was delighted that he recovered from his health problems earlier this year.
Kenny is another who will happily put his hand up when the Fixture Secretary is short on numbers and we will hopefully see him play a full part next season.
Before we make him sound like a proper Saint however it should be pointed out that Kenny is a Finn Harps fan.
Just goes to show that you really can't have everything.
