No such worries for Bready who completed a comprehensive win at home to Ballymena in another rain-affected shoot-out.

David Barr and Andrew Austin gave the North West side a good start here with a half century opening stand while Ernest Kemm and Barr added the same again after they lost Austin for 17 and Brian Crumley for 1.

Barr was in excellent touch hitting 5 fours and 2 sixes on his way to 82 while Kemm was unbeaten on 39 when Bready's 30 overs were up with the score on 176 for 3.

Ballymena never looked like getting into it at any stage in their reply- Steve Lazars with 22 the only noteworthy resistance as Mark Fleming ran through the middle order to finish with 4 for 5.

Professional Kemm (2-5) and Ryan Barr (2-12) completed the rout as the Braidmen collapsed to 85 all out and a 91-run defeat.
