Jersey Women's Cricket Captain Gemma Dunning has been selected to play for Hampshire Women this weekend in matches against Leicestershire and Scotland.

Mike Pollard, Cricket Development Manager for Hampshire Cricket, said "I'm really pleased for Gemma. It's never easy coming into a new county but she has fitted in really well with the girls. She works hard and is determined to do well and thoroughly deserves her place in the team. I wish her all the best for her first game"

Chris Minty, Chief Executive Officer of Jersey Cricket said, "We are very pleased to hear of Gemma's progress in Hampshire. It is the first time a Jersey female cricketer has represented a county at senior level and we hope it will inspire other young Jersey players."
