Derriaghy won the all NCU National Cup semi-final after a 49 run win against Laurevale in a bolwer dominated low-scoring affair.

Laurevale started strongly, with Richard Wilson (6-34) tearing through the Derriaghy batting, and with Lee Edgar (2-20) and David Sinton (2-10) offering excellent back-up, a total of 119 looked well short at the half-way stage.

However Derriaghy had other ideas and Craig Lewis (4-23), Wayne Hughes (2-6) and Mark Stinson (2-23) all bolwed superbly to skittle Laurevale for just 70.

Laurevale will play Malahide in the decider on Sunday August 25 after they beat Rush by 8 wickets in the all Leinster clash.
