The Jersey Cricket Board is delighted to announce that this August Jersey will be hosting a 4 team European Women's Tournament.

Jersey will play host to France, Germany and Hungary from the 14th-18th August in a T20 tournament which will take place at FB Fields. Each team will play each other once with the tournament culminating in a final between the top two teams on Saturday 17th August.

Jersey travelled to Chateaux Thoiry CC, France earlier in the year and successfully retained the Oliver Dubaut Trophy. Jersey also defeated Germany twice at last year's European Women's Tournament including a 8 wicket victory in the final.

Moreover, the Jersey squad know that the German team will be looking for revenge and a win against Jersey on home soil will be in their sights. Hungary remain an unknown entity and Jersey will have to wait for the tournament to discover their final opponents.

Senior player Corey Bisson and coach of the Jersey women commented "The girls have all worked hard over the summer on all aspects of their game and have seen massive improvements mostly in their batting. I'm feeling confident that they are up for the challenge of this tournament and we are looking forward to defending our unbeaten T20 record, and again being crowned champions"
