Middlesex batsman Dawid MalanMiddlesex County Cricket Club (MCCC) is pleased to announce further information regarding its forthcoming summer tour of Jersey on 24-26 June, which will involve two t20 cricket matches (which islanders are invited to attend for free), as well as junior coaching sessions and fundraising for two important local charities.

The Jersey Junior Cricket Age Groups, from Under 13s through to Under 16s, will be taking part in coaching sessions which will involve Jersey Cricket and MCCC coaching staff on Monday 24th June, giving a unique opportunity to receive support and advice from the top professionals. The hour long sessions will involve 50-60 members from the junior age groups of Jersey Cricket and will conclude with a signing session with the players. The Junior players will also be given the opportunity to watch the MCCC team in training at FB fields.

Meanwhile MCCC and principal sponsors Brooks Macdonald are also delighted to confirm that the tour will be raising funds for two Jersey charities - the Jersey Women's Refuge and the Keith Dennis Young Cricketers Foundation. The Jersey Women's Refuge, founded in 1988 and celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, provides support and care for women who experience domestic abuse. The Keith Dennis Young Cricketers Foundation was set up last year to support junior cricket, providing funding for young cricketers who do not have adequate funds to support their development in the sport.

Please find the press release attached as well as some photos of the MCCC team in action. If you would like any additional information, please do let me know.

Also, there will be numerous interview, filming and photography opportunities throughout the tour, including at the coaching session on 24th June, and during/after the two t20 matches on 25th/26th June. If you would like to attend any of the sessions or arrange an interview with the team, I would be happy to help facilitate that, so do let me know.
