The Jersey Cricket Board has, with support and assistance from BlackRock, established an elite coaching programme run by National Coach, Craig Hogan.

The programme provides high performance coaching for a carefully selected groups of young players and BlackRock's continued support has allowed the scheme to expand to now include young players from the Under 12s to Under 18s squads. The scheme is an increasingly important part of the pathway into the National team.

Chris Minty, Chief Executive Officer of the JCB ‘ The expansion of the scheme has required the use of both Oakfield and Langford and without BlackRock this may not have been possible so we really appreciate their support.'

Craig Hogan, National Coach ‘These young players will be challenged by the programme which is designed to make them better players. We hope that they will play for Jersey in ICC tournaments in the future. The earlier we can prepare them for these challenges the better they will be. It's been good to see that 4 young players, Jonty Jenner, William Robertson, James Duckett and Solomon Warner, from the Academy have had a taste of the programmes run by first class counties in recent visits to Sussex, Hampshire and Durham.'

Ed Bellew of BlackRock ‘We are delighted to have helped establish this elite coaching programme. We have supported junior cricket on the island for a number of years and it has been great to see so many young players enjoying the game, ensuring a very healthy future for cricket in Jersey.'
