Taking advantage of the half-term break some of Jersey's brightest young cricketing prospects have been attending specialist coaching sessions this week at Oakfield from 1200 to 1400 daily under the direction of Craig Hogan, National Coach.

Monday saw spinners and wicketkeepers in action while Tuesday's session was all about fitness - such an important part of the modern game. Wednesday will concentrate on the seam bowlers and Thursday's session is about the bio-mechanics of running.The final session on Friday is for the batsmen and will challenge the players to execute a wide range of shots.
