The conference called ‘Player Potential to Performance' is taking place at the Guernsey Cricket Indoor Centre; 26 coaches from 14 member countries have been nominated by each country board.

The Conference Programme consists of the following programme:-

Pace Bowling - Pace Potential

Chris Porter, ICC Europe Regional Development Officer and organiser of the conference, will be attending alongside Philip Hudson, ICC Europe Regional Performance Officer. Porter explains what a perfect venue for this event Guernsey is, 'This is the second time we have been to the Guernsey Indoor Cricket Centre, as earlier this year we delivered a similar coaches conference. The facility was perfect and the support we received from the Guernsey Cricket Board and ICG was first class.

'The Player Potential to Performance Conference is about taking coaches on a journey and offering them an insight into key topics that face young talented players. The player pathway is always changing as highlighted in the 2011 conference, however we need to ensure that coaches are in tune with the players and are able to support them during this journey.

'Overall it is great opportunity for coaches to meet the excellent presenters and other coaches to share ideas and experiences' Porter added.

There are participants from the following 14 countries:
Austria; Belgium; Denmark; Finland; France; Germany; Gibraltar; Guernsey; Ireland; Isle of Man; Italy; Jersey; Netherlands and Scotland
