Malawi produced the shock of the day at the ICC Africa Division 2 by defeating Botswana in a last ball thriller.

Four wickets from Mehul Patel helped to restrict Botswana to 120-7 off 20 overs, before Malawi reached its victory target with just two wickets in hand.

Nigeria claimed top position in the table after a nine-wicket victory over Rwanda in the morning was followed by a five-wicket defeat of Mozambique.

Tanzania recovered from Monday's shock defeat to Sierra Leone by defeating Swaziland by 43 runs to put it in second place.

In other matches, Sierra Leone couldn't maintain its good form when it lost to Ghana by eight wickets, after Ghana had earlier defeated Malawi by 52 runs. These two victories mean that Ghana is in third position in the table.
