An U12 X1 beat Reigate U13B by 7 wkts. Reigate made 79 for 9 in 30 overs. The Jersey bowling was accurate with Ed Giles taking 3 wkts while Matthew Donaldson and Finlay Howard supported with 2 wkts apiece. Jersey reach the target of 80 in only 12 overs with just 3 wkts down. Harry Clews top scored with 24 not out, George Moore made 17 and Archie Hamilton contributed with 16.
At U13 level there were three matches. Reigate B's beat a Jersey B team by 53 runs. Reigate made 156 for 6. Graham Noel & Will Robertson both taking 2 wkts. Jersey were soon in trouble, but with runs from Pascal Warr (13), Graham Noel (15) and Kai Herridge (16) the Jersey side reached a respectable 103. In the 'A' game on Sunday Reigate chose to bat first and were dismissed for just 51 with Rob Duckett ( 2- 6) ans Isaac Le Breton (2 - 3) contributing with the ball. The Jersey X1 were 31 for 4 when Sol Warner decided to finish things off in spectacular fashion hitting the only 4 balls he faced for 4,6,6,4 to finish 20 not out and record a 6 wkt win in just 8 overs.
On Monday the 'A' match resulted in a confortable win for Jersey by 54 runs, With the bat it was Massimo Furness who starred scoring an excellent 44 with Australian import Will Robertson making a good 24. Hostile bowling from Will Kaye and Grant Donaldson (2-13) and a good all round fielding performance meant that Reigate were all out for 105.
In the other schools match a Jersey U15 X1 beat the New Forest U15 by 46 runs. Jersey's total of 142 for 9 had contributions from Zach Pallot (26) Liam Vallois (24) and Rhys Palmer (20). The New Forest were in a strong position until the Jersey spin bowlers took charge. Vallois & Palmer bowled well but it was Dominic Blampied whose 3-26 was the conclusive effort in dismissing the visitors for 96.
