On another rain interrupted day at the Owru Cul, host Suriname defeated Belize by 8 wickets in D/L method after the second interruption for rain left the host with a target of 48 from 9 0vers. Batting first after winning the toss Belize finished on 77/9 in 20 overs with Mykelt Anthony top scoring with 32 runs including 3 towering sixs. Conway Young contributed 13, but no other Belizean batsman got into double figures.

The Suriname bowlers maintained pressured from both ends, opening bowler Troy Dudnauth bowled 4 overs at the cost of 5 runs and he claimed 1 wicket, but the chief wicket taker was Shazam RamJohn who had 3 for 16 from his 4 overs, while Vishaal Singh had 2 for 12 to further restricted the visitors.

Dudnauth continued his good all round performance at the top of the order and made a polished 25 to take his team within 6 runs of a well deserved victory and claimed the man of the match award.

At Snellenpark Bahamas won by the D/L method by 6 runs in a game that saw the teams on and off the field as the unseasonal rain continued to affect the tournament. When rain finally stopped play at 5:26pm with 6 overs completed it left Brazil 36/2 the Bahamas team 6 runs ahead.

Earlier Bahamas rallied to 102/5 from 14 overs, having been precariously poised on 67/5 in 11 overs, before Shanaka Perera 19 n/o and Whitcliff Atkinson 17, n/o lifted the total pass the 100 mark, while the Brazilians conceded 52 runs in the last 5 overs.
