Papua New Guinea disappointed with ICC decision

Papua New Guinea have expressed their disappointment at the ICC's decision to cut affiliate teams from the next Cricket World Cup.
Just the ten full ICC member countries will compete at the next tournament in New Zealand and Australia - down from the 14 at this year's event, which included affiliates such as Ireland and Kenya.
The CEO of Cricket PNG, Bill Leane, says the fact that there isn't even a qualifying opportunity for affiliate countries makes it even harder to take.
'I think that we're all disappointed that, you know, now a young boy wakes up in our countries and has to live with the understanding that, potentially, they may never reach their personal best and that is playing on the ultimate world stage for their home country or their country of birth. So I think there's a distinct feeling amongst the associates and affiliates that that's a very negative aspect.'
