The Jersey Cricket Board has, with support and assistance from BlackRock (Channel Islands) Limited, established an elite coaching programme run by National Coach, Craig Hogan.

The programme provides high performance coaching for a carefully selected group of young players.

Chris Minty, Chief Executive Officer of the JCB advised ‘We are looking to produce players who will, as they progress, be winning cricket matches for Jersey - and we are very grateful to BlackRock making it possible.'

Craig Hogan, National Coach said ‘These young players will be challenged by the programme which is designed to push boundaries in the technical, tactical, mental, physical and life choices of modern day cricket. We are looking to these players to have a major impact in future ICC Tournaments. BlackRock's support is invaluable in allowing these players to be the best they can be.'

Ed Bellew of BlackRock said "We are delighted to have helped launch the Langford Academy this winter, we have supported junior cricket on the island for a number of years and it has been great to see so many young players enjoying the game, thereby ensuring a very healthy future for cricket in Jersey."
