At Brian Piccolo Park USA quickly extinguished any hopes that Bermuda may have had of a trip to Ireland. They won the toss and put Bermuda in and struck with the second delivery and from there on it was a steady procession of wickets, 5 of which were taken by the man of the match Sandhu. None of the Bermudan batsmen reached double figures as they were bowled out for 50 in 17.2 overs. USA cruised home by 10 wickets, with Taylor scoring 21 and Mirza 17.

Canada met the Cayman Islands outside the main stadium and ran out as comfortable winners by 10 wickets. Canada won the toss and invited the Cayman Islands to bat and even with 18 extras they only managed to total 42. Maninder Aulakh did most of the damage with 6-17 for which he was judged man of the match. Canada's reply lasted just 7.2 overs and saw them achieve their target without losing a wicket and helped by 21 extras.

On the main stadium pitch, Argentina and Bahamas met with both teams looking for their first win. Bahamas won the toss and asked Argentina to bat and they ended all out for 165, built around a 91 run partnership between Escobar and A. Husain who scored 27 and 48 respectively. Fox was the leading wicket taker for Bahamas with 4-34. In reply the Bahamas were all out for 131 with the top score of 22 coming from Fox. For Argentina the pick of the bowlers was Musiani who finished with figures of 4-30. Husain was named the name of the match.
