USA and Canada emerge as front runners with Bermuda tucked in behind

USA continued to sweep all teams before them as they overwhelmed the Cayman Islands by 10 wickets in the main stadium. Cayman Islands won the toss and elected to bat, and only Cato with 13 managed to reach double figures. Five of the USA bowlers shared the wickets with Abdul Ghani leading the way with three. USA took only 4.4 overs to pass their target with Taylor ending on 23 not out. Abdul Ghani was named the man of the match.
Canada also made it three from three with a comfortable win over Argentina, they won by 9 wickets. Canada won the toss and asked Argentina to bat and none of the batsmen reached double figures as they were all out for 38 in the 28th over. All six Canadian bowlers took wickets with Manoosingh claiming three. In reply Canada needed less than 8 overs to pass the target losing only one wicket. Manoosingh was named the man of the match.
The third game of the day saw Bermuda face off against the Bahamas. Bermuda finished running out as winners by 8 wickets. Bermuda won the toss and elected to field and although there were no fireworks, the Bahamas batsmen showed determination and occupied the crease for almost 40 overs and ended with a score of 91 all out. Gilbert was the leading wicket taker for Bermuda with 3-18. The Bermudan reply lasted 14.3 overs and saw them pass their target with only 2 wickets down. Leverock was top scoring with 35.
