After Thursday's disappointing defeat, Afghanistan have bounced back in fine style with a six wicket win over Kenya in Nairobi.

Kenya won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost wickets regularly, and only three batsmen managed to get a start, Tanmay Mishra top scoring with 32. Samiullah Shenwari was the pick of the bowlers with 3-29.

Afghanistan's chase started badly. Noor Ali Zadran retired hurt early on, whilst Karim Sadiq and Nawroz Mangal were dismissed soon after, leaving the score on 19-2. Mohammad Shahzad and Asghar Stanikzai then put on 53 for the third wicket before Shahzad was out for 37.

Stanikzai stayed in to help guide Afghanistan to their target, Mohammad Nabi helping make the chase quicker with a quick-fire 23 not out from 18 balls. Stanikzai finished on an unbeaten 55 as Afghanistan secured their six wicket win.

The two teams will now play the deciding ODI on Monday, with Afghanistan looking to pick up their first series win.
