Sloggers defeated Jersey Post by one wicket in their Division III match in the NatWest 6-a-side Indoor Cricket League last night with victory off the last ball. Sloggers reached their winning target of 115 with Simon Finch hitting an unbeaten 34 runs while Andy Cadoret supported with 27.

Jersey Post's 12-over total of 114 all out included 47 runs from Jamie Bara and 28 by Teixeira while Finch completed a fine match for Sloggers taking 3 wickets for 17 runs.

Barney Sweeney hit an undfeated 38 in St John's 7 run win against JJCA2. St John were all out for 95 in ten overs as Dominic Blampied excelled with four wickets for 18 runs. Balmpied also top scored with 30 runs but his team just fell short finishing on 88 for 5 in 12 overs.

Infrasoftech Walkovers B defeated Lutea Mavericks by 14 runs. Walkovers were served well by Matt Cox who scored 38 not out while Dan Cox and Simon Pugsley retired on 26 and 25 respectively. Requiring 99 to win, Mavericks were dismissed for 84 in 9.1 overs as Paul Michel returned bowling figures of three wickets for 28 runs.

Caesareans scrateched their Division II match against JUBRFC.
