Panjshir provincial team has qualified for the quarter finals of Afghanistan's inter-provincial Twenty 20 trophy after winning two consecutive matches in its group B against Kunduz and Kapisa.
Panjshir v Kunduz
Kunduz batted first and lost all wickets for 96 runs in the 18th over. Parviz from Panjshir took 5 wickets. Panjshir struggled to chase the target of 97, but finally reached the target in the last over, winning by one wicket. Shir Rahman of Panjshir scored 45 runs.
Panjshir v Kapisa
Panjshir won the toss and elected to bat first. In 20 overs, Panjshir scored 116, losing all wickets. Panjshir batting line-up struggled with Javed reaching 22, the highest individual score. Kapisa struggled even more when it batted, and they could not chase the target of 117 and lost all wickets for 109 runs.
Kunduz v Kapisa
Kapisa won the toss and elected to bat first. Kapisa scored 107 in 20 overs, losing all wickets. Kunduz in response lost all wickets for 100 runs.
