The West Indies High Performance Centre XI rounded off their Canadian tour with yet another win on Wednesday. West Indies HPC XI beat Canada by 15 runs at the Malton Sports Club in Ontario in the ongoing Cricket Canada Summer Festival.

HPC XI Skipper Shamarh Brooks led the way with a fighting half-century (86 not out off 92 balls) which helped the visitors put up 203-7 in their 50 overs. In reply, HPC XI paceman Shannon Gabriel rocked the Canada line-up and restricted the hosts to 188-6 in 50 overs to script the win.

Meanwhile, Cricket Canada and the Bermuda Cricket Board have agreed to cancel the last two games of the Cricket Canada Summer Festival between the two teams. Bermuda are scheduled to leave for home early owing to the threat of Hurricane Igor reaching the island.
