Rathbones OVs beat Optimus by 6 wickets in the final of the NatWest Senior Cup on Saturday, a victory that completes a CI League, Premier Division and Senior Cup treble.

In rapidly fading light at Grainville, Optimus had initially made 103 for 6 in 16 overs, Ryan Driver top-scoring with 43. Duckworth Lewis was then used to give the OVs a revised target of 107, a total that they reached in 15.2 overs for the loss of 4 wickets, Peter Gough making 41.

Earlier in the day, SCF had beaten Farmers-Caesareans by 18 runs and Aztec Springfield beat St Ouen by 10 wickets, Jason Carpenter's 67 off 36 balls the stand-out performance.

The semi-finals had then seen OVs beat SCF by 21 runs and Optimus beat Springfield by 32 runs, setting up the final fixture.
