Jersey's under-15 side suffered a heavy defeat against Ireland in their third match of the ICC European Championship.

Ireland batted first, scoring an impressive 197-7 in their 45 overs as Jersey toiled in the field.

In reply, Jersey were thoroughly outclassed, losing all of their wickets for a paltry 55 runs.

The loss means that Jersey drop to fifth in the Championship table, having taken just one win from their three matches, while Ireland go second.

Jersey's next match at the tournament in the Netherlands is against local rivals Guernsey on Friday.
