Beeches beat St Ouen by 26 runs on Monday to move above Rathbones OV's at the top of Division One in Jersey's Evening Cricket League.

Beeches scored 144-6 in their 12 overs, Tom Coward top scoring with 46, before bowling St Ouen all out for 118 in 11.5 overs with Coward taking 5-9.

The win puts Beeches on 121 points from, while Rathbones have 106 points.

Asburton are now only two points behind Rathbones in third, after beating Infrasoftech Walkovers by nine wickets.

Infrasoftech Walkovers batted first to score 86-8 in 12 overs, with Ed Bellew taking 3-41.

Asburton then made light work of chasing down the target, losing just one wicket as the cruised to victory in eight overs.

In Monday's other fixture, St Helier RFC went down to their eight defeat of the season as they were beaten by Jackson Fox Hautlians by three runs.
