End of season fare arrived early at Ballygomartin Road as Woodvale were bowled out in the 35th over for 167 and CI knocked off the runs for the loss of two wickets in the 22nd.

CI captain John Matchett took five wickets  including Woodvale top scorer Harry Warke for 61 (from 53 balls with eight fours and two sixes) but only three other  players reached double figures as the home side collapsed from 109 for three.

The Belmont side were also in a hurry to finish a meaningless match, scoring at eight runs an over in the chase with Jack Beattie hitting 43 and Matchett completing a fine all-round game with 31 not out.
