Terenure completed an impressive four-wicket victory over Cork Harlequins after chasing down 241 with more than 13 overs to spare.

Harlequins posted 240, built around a superb 90 from Dineth Sumanasinghe. His 103-ball innings included nine fours and five sixes, while Adam Hickey added a brisk 30.

Umer Khan then launched a spectacular late assault, hammering 46 from only 19 deliveries with three fours and five sixes to lift the total towards 250.

Kripesh Shetty led the Terenure attack with four for 39, while Naveed Khan claimed two wickets.

Terenure’s reply gathered pace despite losing Mick Cotter and Thomas Shand early. Henry Dall struck 37 from 29 balls before Zeeshan Mumtaz and Sidharth Nair took control.

Mumtaz made a fluent 50 from 51 deliveries, hitting seven fours and two sixes, while Nair added 27 from 23 balls. Their partnership put Terenure firmly on course before both fell in quick succession.

Bhavic Tukrel then guided the chase home with an unbeaten 53 from 45 deliveries, including six fours and two sixes. He shared an unbroken 75-run stand with Kripesh Shetty, who finished not out on 20.

Terenure reached their target in the 37th over to seal a convincing win.
