Civil Service had posted 289 for eight from their 50 overs, led by Simranjeet Singh’s 97 from 112 balls. Edson Silva gave the innings early momentum with a rapid 43, while Arjun Chandrasekar added 60 during a crucial sixth-wicket partnership of 136 with Singh.

Mubasher Siddique and Noor Ullah then contributed unbeaten 18s to lift the total towards 300.

Kaustubh Apsunde was Leinster’s most successful bowler with three for 37, while Mark Tonge claimed two wickets.

Leinster lost Thomas Johnson and Monil Patel early, but Luke Horgan and Ahmadzai transformed the chase with a commanding third-wicket stand of 168.

Horgan struck 85 from 100 balls, including 11 fours and a six, before falling with the score on 210.

Ahmadzai continued the assault, hammering 14 fours and four sixes in his 82-ball innings. Although he departed with eight runs still required, Thomas O’Connor remained unbeaten on 43 and Saqib Bahadur finished the job as Leinster reached their target in the 43rd over.
